A free health fair in Mason on Saturday, Sept. 19, will offer wellness screenings, CPR demonstrations and a chance to meet local physicians.

Mercy Health–Kings Mills Hospital is hosting the Health and Wellness Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its campus, 5440 Kings Island Dr. No registration is required.

Families can expect health and wellness screenings, meet-and-greet sessions with primary and specialty care physicians, AED and CPR demonstrations, onsite mammograms and blood donations, according to the event listing on Mercy Health's website. A fitness demonstration is also on the schedule.

Mason Police will be on site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Mason fire truck will be parked out front from 11 a.m. to noon.

FC Cincinnati mascot Gary the Lion will make a guest appearance. The event will also feature live music, refreshments and giveaways.

Dr. Todd Bramlee, a family medicine physician with Mercy Health–Kings Mills Primary Care, said the fair is geared toward helping families head into the school year healthy. "Health fairs are a great way for families to learn about preventive care and community resources," Bramlee said in a Sept. 4 Warren County Post article announcing the event.

Bramlee also encouraged parents to use the back-to-school season to review their children's overall health. He recommended building habits around sleep, balanced nutrition, physical activity and hand hygiene to help kids stay healthy through the school year.

The hospital is a 60-bed facility serving Mason, Kings Mills and surrounding communities. The fair is part of a broader push to connect residents with local healthcare professionals and preventive care resources ahead of the fall.
