Swimmers ages 13 and older can sign up for a free freestyle stroke clinic on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Mason Municipal Aquatic Center.

The one-hour session runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the 50-meter pool at 6249 Mason-Montgomery Road. Mason Recreation promoted the clinic on its official X account and listed it on its registration portal.

The clinic is not for beginners. Participants must already know the freestyle stroke and be comfortable swimming unassisted in deep water for 25 meters without stopping, according to the registration listing. Instructors will not be in the water. Swimmers should bring a swimsuit and goggles.

The session focuses on improving technique through competitive stroke drills. The registration page credits the City of Mason Manta Rays swim team with hosting the clinics.

Registration is open on Mason Recreation's WebTrac portal. No fee is listed.
