Women in the Mason and Deerfield Township area can get a screening mammogram without driving to a hospital or imaging center when Premier Health's mobile mammography coach parks at Countryside YMCA on Monday, August 31.
The coach will be at 1699 Deerfield Road in Deerfield Township from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering both traditional 2D and Genius 3D Mammography for breast cancer detection.
Women under 40 need a doctor's referral. Appointments are required.
Residents can book by calling (855) 887-7364, visiting premierhealth.com/mobilemammo, or emailing [email protected].
The coach is owned and operated by Atrium Medical Center in Middletown and travels to businesses, public venues and events across Southwest Ohio, according to a Warren County Post announcement. The equipment aboard matches what patients would find at a Premier Health breast center, and Premier Health radiologists interpret all results, which are sent to the patient's physician.
The mobile unit includes a reception area, private dressing rooms and a mammography suite. Patients who have had previous mammograms at another hospital or health system can have those records transferred when they schedule their appointment, according to Premier Health.
