A water main break on King Avenue in Deerfield Township cut water service to addresses between 1618 and 1536 King Ave. on Sunday, Aug. 2.
Warren County Water announced the break on its official X account at approximately 10:35 a.m., confirming that repair crews were already on site. The department said no boil water advisory would be issued for the repair.
The utility asked residents to use caution in the King Avenue area while crews work.
Warren County Water did not provide an estimated timeline for completing repairs or say when full service would be restored. The department also did not specify how many households within the 1618–1536 King Ave. address range lost water or what caused the break.
The King Avenue incident marks the second water main break in the Warren County Water service area in less than a week. A separate break on Hendrickson Road in Mason occurred Wednesday. That break affected a different set of customers in a different municipality. Warren County Water has not publicly linked the two incidents or cited a common cause such as aging infrastructure or ground conditions.
