Mason Community Center opened registration for 31 fall enrichment programs on Tuesday, Aug. 18, offering classes for residents as young as 3 months old through seniors age 60 and older.
Registration is open now.
The City of Mason Rec announced the lineup on X, directing residents to the center's online portal to browse the full catalog. The programs arrive as Mason City Schools students begin a new school year.
Two confirmed offerings highlight the center's community partnerships:
WCPD Naturalist Led Nature Series — A free guided nature walk at Pine Hill Lakes Park on Friday, Aug. 28, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., led by a Warren County Parks District naturalist. The center asks participants to pre-register. All experience levels are welcome.
Safety Workshops — A two-hour PROTECT: Women's Self Defense class covering home, vehicle and personal safety with hands-on techniques, plus a Norms of Policing session led by City of Mason police officers to help residents understand law enforcement interactions.
The full catalog spans pre-K through 12th grade for younger participants and includes adult and senior options. Residents can filter programs by age, grade level, day of the week and start month through the center's WebTrac registration portal.
The fall catalog lists 31 programs, building on seasonal offerings like the spring Skool-Aid after-school series, which included Sports Mania and Fun with Music for school-age children.

- Sept. 1 through Sept. 30 — CancerFree KIDS 100 Mile Challenge, a month-long fitness and fundraising campaign for pediatric cancer research at Cincinnati Children's and Nationwide Children's Hospitals. Participants complete 100 miles any way they choose. Goal: $1 million.
